Search for an address by postal code or find a postal code by address.
Searches by former municipality names (names before municipal mergers) are also supported.

How to Search

Search by Postal Code

Please enter a 7-digit postal code. The following formats are accepted:
・1000001
・100-0001
・100 0001
(Hyphens and spaces are optional)

Search by address

Enter a prefecture, city, ward, town, or village name.
The following searches are available:
・Chiyoda (current ward name)
・Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo
・Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo
・Marunouchi (town area name)

Refined Search

Enter multiple keywords separated by spaces to narrow down results with an AND search.
Example:
・Chiyoda Marunouchi → Search only the Marunouchi area of Chiyoda
・Marunouchi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo → Search only the Marunouchi area in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo

About Change History

When searching by postal code, historical address information (e.g., before municipal mergers) will also be displayed.
This allows you to see how the address notation has changed.

The postal code data used in this tool is based on data published by Japan Post Co., Ltd.
Also supports address changes due to municipal mergers and other changes.
